Who We Are

West Hollywood runs on three kinds of housing, and each one changes how we clean. The 1920s–40s bungalow and courtyard stock across the basin was built with hardwood and area rugs, later carpeted over or partially re-exposed, so we work around thresholds, tack strips near exposed plank, and rugs that need to come up and go back down flat. Postwar tract ranches from 1945 to 1960 came with wall-to-wall cut pile in bedrooms and halls, usually with the worst wear in a single traffic lane. The 1970s–90s apartment and condo stock is nearly all wall-to-wall over slab, which means no subfloor airflow and a slower dry if nobody plans for it. We serve the Greater Los Angeles basin plus the San Gabriel Valley and Verdugo foothills. It's a low-humidity region for most of the year, so carpet dries fast after extraction, often same-day with airflow, but fine airborne dust, road grit, and pollen settle constantly into pile instead of being washed out by rain. Coastal and westside homes deal with marine-layer damp mornings, salt-tinged air, and slower winter drying in ground-floor and north-facing units. Inland valley homes get decomposed-granite grit, foothill dust, oak and sycamore pollen, and Santa Ana ash.

The calls we take most often here are turnover and deposit cleaning between tenants, pet odor in multigenerational and pet-heavy households, and traffic lanes that got dark faster than the owner expected. High renter share in this region means a lot of carpet goes years between cleanings, so first cleanings are heavy. A crew shows up with a truck-mounted unit, hoses run from the van. We vacuum, then apply a pre-spray matched to the fiber and the soil, then agitate so the solution reaches the base of the pile instead of sitting on top. Then comes the hot water extraction pass, slow, with overlapping strokes. Then air movers go down in the rooms we cleaned, and we tell you how long to stay off. Most of that work is steam carpet cleaning, which is the right choice for nylon and most synthetic wall-to-wall, and it's what we use when soil is ground in. Low-moisture methods make more sense for wool, for delicate rugs, and for ground-floor units on the westside in winter where drying is slow. We also handle upholstery cleaning on the same visit, and carpet repair for seams, pet damage, and lifted edges near thresholds in older units.

We will tell you when a stain is not coming out. Bleach spots, some dye stains, pet urine that reached the pad and sat, and old wear that took the fiber tips off are permanent damage, not soil.
